We provide a variety of equine rations for all types of horses; from traditional high energy - grain based mixes to low starched - high fat rations. All items are in 50 lb bags.

    For horses that are not heavily worked and require a basic maintenance diet. We recommend feeding about 1% body weight/head/day. Provide plenty of good quality forage and fresh clean water at all times.

  • Features

    A traditional "horse and mule" type sweet feed. A blend of alfalfa pellets, flaked corn, flaked barley, oats and molasses. A basic maintenance feed.

    A sweet feed that mostly consists of steam flaked corn, alfalfa pellets, oats, wheat midds, flaked barley, beet pulp and molasses. Significantly fortified with vitamins and minerals including chelated zinc as well as ground yucca which acts as an anti-inflammatory for sore joints. Special ingredient: Tasco®.

  • Features

    Our "top of the line" sweet horse feed. This feed has a very high energy level, and is heavily fortified in vitamins and minerals (including chelates). Major ingredients include oats, alfalfa pellets, steam flaked corn, wheat midds, shredded beet pulp, soybean meal, rice bran, flaked barley and molasses. Also include ground yucca which acts as an anti-inflammatory for sore joints and a special blend of plant oils containing omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Special ingredients: Diamond V Yeast® and Tasco®.

    For light to moderate activity, senior, adding/maintaining finish on a "hard keeper" or where a low carbohydrate diet is desired. General feeding rates range from ½% to 1% of body weight depending on body condition. Always feed good quality hay or pasture along with free choice salt and fresh water. Can be fed to all horses of various activity levels, including brood mares, growing horses, foals and stallions.

    This pellet features a low starch formula to prevent horses from having gastrointestinal problems associated with high carbohydrate diets. High in fermentable fiber and a high level of fat. Major ingredients include rice bran, wheat midds, soy hulls and alfalfa. This feed is fortified with vitamins and minerals (including chelates) as well as ground yucca which acts as an anti-inflammatory for sore joints. The pellet is soft, which makes it easier for older horses to eat. Special ingredients: Diamond V Yeast® and Tasco®.

  • Feeding

    For moderate to high activity horses, or where a low carbohydrate diet is desired. Feed 1/2 to 1 pounds of feed per 100 pounds of body weight depending on age, size and body condition. Feeding level should be determined by desired body condition. Feed good quality hay free choice or at a level of 1 to 1 1/2% of body weight. Always provide clean fresh water at all times. Keep feed fresh in cool dry storage. DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP OR GOATS AS THOSE SPECIES ARE NOT TOLERANT TO THIS LEVEL OF COPPER.

  • Features

    A high quality, alfalfa based, low starch, feed. Fortified in minerals, including organic zinc. Fortified in Vitamins, including B vitamins and 80 IU per pound of Vitamin E. High fiber content can reduce the amount of hay required. Special ingredient: Activo Select®.

    Use as a top dress to increase energy levels of the animals main ration. Consult with our nutritionist for rates as there is a risk of foundering if too much is used.

    An easy way to boost the carbohydrate level of the animals ration to improve finish of the animal. The steam flaking process improves the digestibility of the grain.
